What I clicked on this week

I want this to be a weekly post. Every day I scan the web to read the news, search for story ideas, and find out what is new and cool. I like to look everywhere because you never know what you will find in the world wide web.

This 6-Year-Old Ordered $350 Of Toys From Her Mom's Amazon Account And Just Look At Her Face (Buzzfeed)-- this headline got me. A good headline is so crucial to getting clicks on posts. Fun Fact: instead of returning the presents, the parents are donating them to a children's hospital!

Facebook buys Vidpresso’s team and tech to make video interactive (TechCrunch)-- social media is literally changing every second. I try to be on top of what is going on and this just sounds so cool trying to get people to watch videos as a community.

The Life-Changing Magic of Chicken Wings and Sports Betting (WSJ)-- I'm living in Buffalo, I had to check this one out. Buffalo Wild Wings is stepping into the ring of sports betting.

Omarosa cuts off 'Today' appearance, tells Savannah Guthrie to 'calm down' during bizarre interview (Fox News)--I didn't click for political reasons but more to see how Savannah Guthrie reacted and which questions she asked.

THE FUTURE OF TELEVISION IS … MORE TELEVISION (Wired) --If I had a $1 for every time I heard "cord cutting", TV is dead, or "nobody watches TV anymore" I would be able to pay off my student loans. Yes, digital advertising has surpassed TV advertising but I do not think TV is going anywhere anytime soon.

There were many more but here is what I found most interesting.

Becka.
